Soul-slider Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 (edited) Is this fabulous piece of Northern Soul well known? Was it ever played on the scene...anywhere!! First heard it on a tape from years back (Flynny?) and jumped at the chance to buy it when the opportunity arose. Super dooper tune!! "You know I busted my back....just to buy you a pink Cadillac, you took it back cause you wanted black! What I gotta do to satisfy you'.... Edited November 26, 2007 by Soul-Slider

Themoneyshot Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 HOW BAZAAR IS THAT JUST PUT IT IN MY BOX FOR PLAYING AT THE STORMING ALNIGHTER BARNSLEY ON FRIDAY THE OTHER HALF LOVES IT ENZO
Anoraks Corner Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I used to put it on tapes as 'Ray Agee'. Not seen a stock copy, but have seen slight label variations of font on WD's. Hugh's name pops up within credits on quite a few albums...he plays guitar. A strong R'n'B pounder, as some may say.

Hugh has played guitar with B.B King, not much sign of his guitar playing on this tune though....great vocals I reckon!
