HI,

ANYONE REMEMBER ( THE SOULSURVIVORS )

TV MOVIE ON BBC WITH IAN McSHANE , ISAAC HAYES ANTONIO FARGAS (HUGGY BEAR ) & TAUREAN BLACK ( HILL STREET BLUES ) AMONG OTHERS.

DON'T THINK IT'S FOR SALE ANYWHERE ?? ,CAME OUT MID NINETIES I THINK,

SET IN LIVERPOOL IF I REMEMBER RIGHT,

CAN'T REMEMBER IF IT WAS MUCH GOOD OR NOT, ANYONE GOT ANY INFO,

Yeh, i also remember this --it was very good as i recall --when Otis(Ian Mc Shane got to America) and found the group his dreams were dashed when he found the lead singer was dead--but it turned out he,d faked his own Funeral as the mob were after him!! I think he got the group back to Liverpool to perform in a disused theatre or something.I would love to see it again if possible----i think the song that was their anthem (and of course Lovejoys(sic) all time fave was a very good song)

I think the band were called the Tallahasees - it was prodcued by a guy I was at college with but to be honest it was a bit bland.

remember it and another film called coast to coast with lenny henry about a mobile soul dj, funny film

MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL GET IN TOUCH WITH THE BBC AND ASK WHY THEY HAVEN'T PUT IT ON DVD /

OR SHOWN IT AGAIN, THEY SEEM TO REPEAT EVERYTHING ELSE OVER & OVER,
