Bloody hell Pete, I see what you mean. I can also see what pikeys-dog meant about saving a fortune in costs.

Seems like they have a base label design then just print over that for any label under their control. Nice one.

I don't get on here much at the mo due to new work and study stuff, but I'm pleased to see this thread is still running. Have we had the "All Boy" label yet? What a great name...

...I think that may be Brokeback Mountain he's sitting on.

Dont want to stray a bit, but I've got a copy of Rain - Out of my mind on a blue London label of the same design, but it's a Canadian release

Now here's a nice US London oddball release.. Does the label remind you of a certain British label? This was released on UK Oriole in 1962. Funny how the US release replicates the label, but also gives Jackie Lee her own personalised indie!

Think I found a new addition

Sure have Pete...

And here's another!

Stroke of Genius really.

All London Distributed subsidiary or distributed label PROMO's put out on the same generic full colour standard label with single colour specific overprints as required.

Created a 'branded' house style in a sensible and economical manner, whilst maintaining the individual logo's own identity.

Clever stuff.

Another one! Well sort of

This is Jamaican for a start, and although it doesn't mention London distribution it's the blue version of the promo labels they used. Unless they sold some of the blanks - or an enterprising Jamaican got his hands on some :D

Nice one Godzilla.

Don't think "Kick That Little Foot" had such a release as I have a straight w/d somewhere.

Awesome thread this and pretty amazing how new ones keep showing up.

Cheers Sean
