sorry, it's an expression of amazement (taken from the Beano cartoon strip 'Little Plum') at the price and speed at which this record sold.. always thought it was an eighty quidder...

I know Jean DuShon. I called her one day to tell her that "Second Class Lover" was selling all over the Net. She was silent for a couple of seconds. Then she said, "Second Class Lover"! "My God, I had forgotten I ever recorded that!" I told her that it was a cult record in Europe and was widely admired in the Northern Soul circles. She was astounded.

One more thing. Her three Chess albums may be coming out on CD. I'll keep you posted.
