Eddie Hubbard Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 A freind of mine has just purchased a version of " Ain't no sun " by The Originals on a black Suspension import label .It's a version of The Temps ,Dynamics ,Chuck Jackson etc song . and looks very obscure .We were wondering about the origins of this release , and why it isn't on Motown ? As it sounds like a Motown production . Can anyone help ? Thanks ,Eddie Hubbard .
Sebastian Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I don't know the story behind it... but it seems to be rare... Manship is selling a copy on his site for £200. I also really like the Chips Moman produced version by The Dynamics on Cotillion.
Guest toby Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 I to have a copy of this record it is supposed to be a Motown production ,but who knows?.my copy is a gold label any info to the origins of this tune and perhaps value would be nice, still not a bad sound .
