Just picked this up - what an excellent double sider!!

I knew the "What More" side from the compilation "Cookin' with Kent" but hadn't heard "That's It," which I think will be the one I play out this weekend ... Has that side gotten any play on the Northern scene? Any other Z.Z. make the rounds?

I've got this on 7" vinyl, Kent K494, other side is Have Mercy Someone. I first heard it on ZZ Hill's Kent album Dues Paid in Full (kent 018).

i never understood why z.z.'s great "don't make promises you can't keep" wasn't bigger...especially as it shares a backing track with a much rarer northern biggie (whose identity escapes me at the moment...anyone??)...

Just been listening to another class kent cd SOUTHERN SOUL BROTHERS Clay Hammond & ZZ Hill

Have not played it for ages GREAT STUFF

"Don't make promises" is one there.

Clay ain't bad either
