Guest Juddy Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Just picked this up - what an excellent double sider!! I knew the "What More" side from the compilation "Cookin' with Kent" but hadn't heard "That's It," which I think will be the one I play out this weekend ... Has that side gotten any play on the Northern scene? Any other Z.Z. make the rounds? juddy pittsburgh
pikeys dog Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 That's it gets regular plays in the Back Beat room at Middleton...

I first heard it on ZZ Hill's Kent album Dues Paid in Full (kent 018).
Weingarden Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 i never understood why z.z.'s great "don't make promises you can't keep" wasn't bigger...especially as it shares a backing track with a much rarer northern biggie (whose identity escapes me at the moment...anyone??)...
