Many of you will know he's had some serious health issues these last few years, last week Nogger informed me that he'd just had another stroke and life is becoming harder and harder. Neil, you've made me laugh more times than I can mention, we've had some bizarre trips around the UK, remember the one that went Peterborough, Stoke, Stafford, Tewkesbury, Stockport and Stoke all in 24hrs.. We go back a few years and had some laughs esp with neil clowes my departed mates frankiej and pete lawson etc. Come to think of it I didnt realise just how far back we went......showing my age mate..... Without Neil, Keith wouldn't have got to half the Stafford's we ran together. Also the man that discovered the Stafford anthem Larry Davis-I've been hurt so many times-Kent Sold me it one night for £5, after an hour we came up with the c/u name Johnny Henley and a Stafford monster was born. Talked to him at the weekend and he tells me he is retiring from the Nighter scene, well, knowing Nogger for 30 odd years I know the only way you'll keep him away is to clamp his wheelchair ! My doctor came round to see on friday, telling me of my results of my tests. It was not good. To tell the truth, he told me if i have another stroke, it could be to much for me.
