Agent45 Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Someone did do a Dr Strangelove track, Arthur Ponder? Yep! On Crow and Capricorn.
Kevinkent Posted November 11, 2007 Author Posted November 11, 2007 No one's got a scan then with Betty Lou and "Peanut Duck" on the same label? Probably way off trax here, but with my poor hearing I detected what I thought was a certain similarity between parts of Dr Truelove and Peanut Duck . Not in the quality of the tune I hasten to add - just in parts of the female vocal, allowing for a few years difference in age and vocal maturity. .......I'll get my coat!
Prophonics 2029 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 (edited) Isn't Peanut Duck Martha Jean Love? Edited November 11, 2007 by Prophonics 2029
Kevinkent Posted November 11, 2007 Author Posted November 11, 2007 Isn't Peanut Duck Marth Jean Love? Dunno. Is that the general concensus then?
Chalky Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Dunno. Is that the general concensus then? No, I don't think its MJL, not to these ears. The acetate is uncredited so guess no one knows who it is really. Anyone got MP3 of the instrumental?
Prophonics 2029 Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 What did that Butch production say, it sounds a bit Bett Lou must say but 10 years late Dr TL is 1964 5 ish.
