45cellar Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) Dont think it has. I don't think it has either, as it was re-issued on green. There was a recent thread regarding the slighly different takes used. Edited November 10, 2007 by 45cellar

Simon T Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 oops wrong record got mixed up with clifford binns Clifford  Binns first press is orange. Second (legit) press is green. Boot is also green, but does not have '208' in the run-out. (Do'nt know what the 208 relates to, the record number is C014)

45cellar Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 ] Hey 45 Cellar....what about this one you've missed...??? Hi John Very nice thanks for posting it, the one that I don't own, hence I couldn't provide a scan. I'm not too sure which of the takes is used on the Jameco Label. I have been trying to find the previous thread about this. Look well together don't they.

Hi Roger, I have the green Carrie one which sounds superb! Very clear and quality sound, the Jameco one is on it's way to me soon (I hope) so i'll let you know if there's any difference in the recording. BTW, the Jameco one is credited to Edward Hamilton & The FIFES. Thanks, John

Carrie = Edward Hamilton, Mary Jane = Edward Hamilton and The Arabians, Jameco = Edward Hamilton and The Fifes. I think that on the other thread it was suggested that the Mary Jane copy was a later recording. Found the other thread >>> LINK <<< Edited November 10, 2007 by 45cellar
