paup-ine Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Hi, Has anyone come accross the UK re-issue of Bobby Hebb's Love Love Love - Phillips 6051023 - (paper lable) which seems to have been recorded initially on the wrong speed for the first few seconds at the start. It starts slow, then quickly winds up to proper speed. Just wondered if it is a one off, or is it common. Apologies if the subject has already been covered. Thanks. P

Tony Smith Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Strangely enough the version included on "Northern Soul Connoisseurs" has this fault, I thought this was only on the cd, shows the level of care Phillips gave to their remastering in the 70's!
