Guest Trevski Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Just recieved a copy of the Tokays-Brute today. Won it for £34 listed as G. Label worn, looks about right grade wise. Bit of Mr. Sheen, and now for the deck....... Plays at least VG+!!! Nice playable copy, certainly fine for 'playing out' £34! not too bad huh? Doncha just love the US grading!
Prophonics 2029 Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Never sure if I like this record, got it on CD but for £34 I would get to like it or sell it.

Doncha just love the US grading! i love the American grading system, i got a Seven Souls - I still love you, with label damage and plays good and sounds great, when it arrived the label was damaged but the vynil was E+ to M- and sounds perfect and all for the measly sum of £144 only 3 months ago plus quite a few others ive kind of gambled on and been more than pleased with.
Daved Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Excellent record Paul. Not sure I'd call £144 a measly sum though lol. You must have this record collecting bug bad.

Your right Dave but when a minter is £350/400ish its very satisfying to know you got a record thats plays mint for a third of the going rate, what bug

Funny enough got the very same record for about the same price a few months ago, decribed as having a skip near intro, good clean when it came, nows plays near perfect.
