Needless To Say I Never Jested On The Subject Again.
Guest Matt Male Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 It looks like the Fantastic Four to me, although i've only got an album from the 60s, but they all look the same still.
Modernsoulsucks Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 It's on the tip of my tongue but I know they did a beautiful, poignant ballad full of yearning and loss - "I left my two-tone mohair suit in San Fransisco". Isn't it a random selection of modern soul fans? ROD

Guest Matt Male Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 (edited) The Fantastic Four The lead singer James Epps lost a lot of weight after that pic, he's much thinner on the album i have but looks very much like the guy at the back centre in your pic. Can't find a pic on the internet (apart from that one on Soulful Detroit) and can't scan the album sorry The guy far right on the black and white pic looks like the guy centre front on the colour pic. I'm going to stick with my choice When will you tell us the answer? Edited November 5, 2007 by Matt Male

Guest Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Silent Glo......Bit hard that!!! Surely a W missing you anker. ROD Nope...That's How They Spelled It Herbert
Modernsoulsucks Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 No, if they'd spelt it Herbert it would be pronounced Er-Bert which is nothing like Si-lent Glo. I reckon I was the closest with my guess as Uniques is an anagram of Silent Glo if it had 2 more letters and different ones obviously. What do I win? ROD

Modernsoulsucks Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 I think Chris you should post another picture as a "tie-break" as we were all pretty close, with Bearsy making the most educated guess, as there were four members of a possible Jackson 5 on the ground and you would naturally assume that Michael would be on top of the monument dangling one of his offspring. Don't make it so easy this time. ROD

ROD I know, I was like "that's obviously the very famous group Silent Glo who released many records that were not acetates and who everyone knows" but then decided that it was just too obvious so it couldn't be right.
Guest Bearsy Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 pml i said the dave clark 5 micheal was taking the picture if anyone had questioned my guess
