Guest Johnny Mack Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Willie and the Handjives - Veep 1227 - their only release on the label. Not one of veep's finest releases but always been a semi collectable upbeat item on the label - wouldn't value it more than 20 pounds myself but it's probably at about 40 or 50 pounds based on current values. Sound file at www.soulclub.org for what it's worth ! Cheers, John.

Rich
Chalky Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 I used to spin this around '87/'88 as did one or two others. Been around the £50 mark forever it seems. As already mentioned more a tape collectors item as it never really took off.
John Siret Posted March 9, 2005 Posted March 9, 2005 Don't think you can say this record never really made an impact. Remember it being played loads down the 100 club in the 80's 'Gotta find a new love' side, flip side ain't bad either. John.
