Nick Hackett Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 (edited) LINDA GRINER.. GOODBYE CRUEL WORLD..GOODBYE CRUEL LOVE. MOTOWN. I know it was available on the rarer demo titled 'world' and i recently (finally)bought a 'love' issue. I have always listened to it from Chris Kings Northern Motown cd from 1997 which seems to be a slower take to my vinyl issue. Im sure when ive heard it played out it was slower..So..is it pesky pitchin or were there 2 takes for demo and issue.. or am i just going mad!! (maybe bit too late on that) cheers nick. (jb.. mr motown..need your help mate) Edited November 2, 2007 by nick hackett

Cunnie Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Very interesting & informative interview with Linda Griner in this months Manifesto magazine. Says she didn't even know of the existence of the Goodbye Cruel World copys. Must have only been a kid when she recorded it judging by the recent pictures of her.
