Pete S Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 what a tune.....but apart from that don't have any info label ? price ? for sale anyone ? cheers Andy UK Parlophone. Someone will tell you it's worth £400. It's not. Though certainly seen it go for that on demo. By the way, it's spelt Loyd on this 45.

Simsy Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 Big congrats to my mate Nige (ss member baudrillard) for his weekend bootsale find. Mark Loyd - When I'm gonna find her PARLAPHONE Demo Ex Thirty pence! Well done sir! Yer jammy get.. Seen it a thousand times before, but I'd like to see a scan of the thirty pence worth. Think £3-350+ depending on condition more the norm.
Guest Simon Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 what a tune.....but apart from that don't have any info label ? price ? for sale anyone ? cheers Andy £300 = issue £400 = Demo I sold an issue on JM's a couple of years ago for £324, M- with WOL. Great flip also 'When the evening falls', uptempo dancer, deffo playable out. Simon
Pauldonnelly Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Old Wigan record, be careful it was booted in Belgium on a Parlaphone look a like but with a big hole...
Pete S Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Old Wigan record, be careful it was booted in Belgium on a Parlaphone look a like but with a big hole... Not quite true, booted in Yugloslavia or similar as part of a freakbeat and psych series, not for the northern scene, about 3/4 years ago
Corbett80 Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Steve Aldo 'You're Absolutely Right' on the same label is another superb British soul cut, and much more uptempo. I think The Apollas did the origional?
Kevinkent Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Old Wigan record, be careful it was booted in Belgium on a Parlaphone look a like but with a big hole... And if you look at the "Keni Lewis - Not The Marrying Kind" thread I think you'll find this is on the flip of that white label boot.
