Soul-slider
A mate found this in L.A, it's a nice R&B flavoured tune with great swinging horns and catchy lyrics. Someone has written on the sleeve 'oddball Kentucky group'. Vocal is very blue eyed. There's a tune by a group of the same name in Tim Brown's guide on the 'Knowles' label @ £200. Don't know if it's the same group or not. Can't find no info at all. Anyone know anything about them or this 45? Link to comment Social source share
Pete S
Aren't they an old doo wop group. I mean a really old doo wop group - early 50's Link to comment Social source share
Soul-slider
Aren't they an old doo wop group. I mean a really old doo wop group - early 50's According to 'modernsoulsucks' there are 2 or 3 different groups named the Sultans and I know one of them was an old doo wop group. These guys could be them but I don't know anything except the credits on another release of a Sultans group bears no resemblence to my 45. Link to comment Social source share
