Thanks for the supportive statements all. Pretty new to the record selling game and only trying to shift a few bits that just happened to have come my way, not trying to make a career of it. So advice, help, constructive criticism always welcome from the great and the good.

Still loads left on the list and I'm always willing to listen to offers for a bundle of stuff rather than have them on my hands, so, have a go............. I can only at worst "politely decline". (Is that how you pitch it Pete?)

Martin, thanks for the kind words. As an occasional collector I know what it's like to get something described as "mint", when in fact it's far from it.

My condition standard when selling is to underestimate by some margin what others may think, that way the buyer is nearly always pleased and I make a sale with no problems.

The other point, for me anyway, is that I don't do this to make a living, so I want people to own and appreciate what I sell more than I want the money.

Too egalitarian? Dunno!
