paup-ine Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Hi, can anyone help with the Tomangoes (I really love you) Washpan? What does the original look like, what should I look for? What is the orig worth? What is the boot worth? Many thanks,
Pete S Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Hi, can anyone help with the Tomangoes (I really love you) Washpan? What does the original look like, what should I look for? What is the orig worth? What is the boot worth? Many thanks, Theres a couple of threads elsewhere about this. If it hasn't got a Nashville Matrix stamp in the run off, it's not an original. I sold an original 6 months ago for £1200. Boot worth 5 to 15 quid.
Simsy Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 By 'the boot' are you meaning the Grapevine release?
paup-ine Posted October 26, 2007 Author Posted October 26, 2007 By 'the boot' are you meaning the Grapevine release? Hi thanks for the scan, no not the grapevine release. Whats the matrix no. on the run out?

Ged Parker Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 By 'the boot' are you meaning the Grapevine release? No Ian I think he means a lookalike boot that is very close to the original just no nashville matrix stamp. Can't tell the boot from the one in your scan.

Pete S Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Thanks for that Pete, what is the matrtix stamp no. ? Is it styrene or vinyl? To be honest the Matrix number is irrelevant (and I haven't got one to hand) - just needs to have that Nashville matrix stamp. If it's got a triangle and a delta number, that's a 70's issue, and there's a vinyl boot as well.

Hi As Pete quite rightly states the Matrix has to have the "Nashville Matrix" Stamp Here it is in full from a previous thread of mine. This is an Original it is on Vinyl and has the "Nashville Matrix" STAMPED in the Deadwax on both sides. The Deadwax on mine is Scratched "3125 - 1" STAMPED "Nashville Matrix" Scratched "95" I hope this helps The Stamped Nashville Matrix confirms an original It's great to be back on line, I've had Major Computer Problems over the last two weeks. My Main Computer was finally fixed today Apologies to anyone that I haven't been able to reply to. Edited October 26, 2007 by 45cellar

Spot. Thanks Spot. I'll have a look. Also got it on the Grapevine release Demo any ideas? (In fact got the whole series all bought on release date, any ideas on that? I know the whole series sold on ebay for £268 in 2004)? P

P The Grapevine release is pretty worthless to be honest because they gave most copies away after it was withdrawn from sale, on a good day you can get £15 for it. I had a full set of Grapevines for sale last month, think I asked £350, they didn't sell. People ask ridiculous prices for the Lester Tipton single but it shouldn't really be more than £30, no matter how brilliant it and it's B side are.
