Guest soul_hull Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 best intro ever? the ambers 'i love you baby' is up there. but the tune don't go anywhere for me. lyrics leave a lot to be desired as well. and patti and the emblems. that fanfare intro. that's the best intro going?? both the above have backing vocals in the intro as well. might count for sumthin. what intro gets you going?
Tomangoes Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 Just been listening to an old CD and Ten Miles High came on. Always hated this Wigan toon but must admit the intro is very ggod. Ed
De-to Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 i still love the intro to the gypsies, its a womans world, but for me imo the rest of the tune gets a bit messy.

Brav Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) For me it has to be Landslide - Tony Clarke what a great intro ! Made a mistake, did'nt see (but you don't like the tune overall) underneath, because i do like it all the way thru. Edited October 21, 2007 by Brav
