We know Universal do a good job but what about if we could see releases what would they be cause i would love to see nice anthology series released on the likes or Isley Brothers, JJ Barnes, Marvalettes or anyone else providing there is not too many tracks or else it be like albums and bonus tracks.

and i would love to see Velvelettes version of Baby Love released

All in good time If you mean you'd like to see the Isleys and Marvelettes released in the 'Anthology' series like Brenda Holloway and Kim Weston, I'm sure there's stuff in the pipeline. It's the licensing that takes the time - sometimes a couple of years for one track. Trust me - I know - the Soul Satisfaction series took a year per CD for me to compile and the wheels at Universal don't turn any faster just because I work for them . Doing the track listing is the easy bit - then it's the sitting and waiting for contracts to be found etc. If I had a magic wand, I would release everything that's in the vaults but sadly, I haven't got a magic wand. Ed, nowt to do with profit - the bums on seats TV advertised CDs and Amy/ Scissor Sisters/ Mika take care of the Universal profits. It's the clearance time and schedules....I'm still waiting for my 'slot' for SS6 - hand me the crow bar and Vaseline Jo
