Great track hard to find 45, took me over 10 years to get my copy at £120, worth a good £300 of anybodies money by todays prices get or regret as they say

Soul Bowl had a small amount of originals in the early 80's, our little collecting circle all bought one, but I don't think many have turned up since! I think I first heard Gary Rushbrooke play it.

Yes it was definitely on a Soul Supply LP.

Think I've only ever had this once, bought of Tim Ash in 99 for £200. Think I'd ask maybe £275 now. Great record.

Im sure I posted this before but I guess no one pays much attention. Deffo Richard play at Wigan but it was doing nothing really. In a warehouse in Washington '81-ish and there's all these copies of the 45.

Played it and thought I recognise that. Bought 10 I think. Dave and I may have kept a copy and played it.

I'd estimate I left around 600+. Late 80's and 45s in warehouse long gone and no way to contact the lady who had them all, plus a few thousand soul'rare groove LPs that were not worth picking up back in early 80's.

I used to get quite a few bits of Ray's list, North Wales lad as I remember, got some good tips off his sales tapes

Old Ray had some great stuff bought 2 chuck Holidays of him at £35 a piece

Searling spin from tail end of Wigan as "Bobby Treetop" if my memory serves me right. On Soul Bowl not long after for £3, though you did have to pay postage on top.

You might grumble on the postage, as an apprentice in 1978 I got the minimum wage of £16.50 a week and that was with over time, £5 on logings, £5 on bus fare and £3 to £5 on records the rest on food, fags and they say the price of records is high today.

I remember buying this of Dave, Pete Thorpe and myself ,copy each tenner,black lion or one of the local do's that pete and myself used to run in rochdale.
