Yeah just after the album. Passed a fair priced copy about 3 years but havent seen another since.
Val (Chunky) Posted October 12, 2007 Posted October 12, 2007 (edited) There is an old CD of the album with an alternate version of 'Spread Love' on it. It's a great version too. I think Bob Jones had something to do with it. I'll root it out later. Edited October 12, 2007 by Chunky

phillyDaveG Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 No, it's NOT "The book of life" LP (although that's good too). It's this one; SPREAD LOVE "SPREAD LOVE" (1976 SUNSTAR) (Prod. Michael Orr & Carey Harris) Best tracks - "Ecstasy, fantasy & dreamland"/"Here I go (through these changes again)"/"A piece of mine"/"Spread love"/"Keep my fire burning"/"Afterwhile" Quite a few pop up on Ebay. Expect to pay £150-£200.
Reg Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Like already mentioned this is on Micheal Orr's "Book Of Life" LP, i have this and the Spread Love (Sunstar) albums, but the Book Of Life has a good track with the female vocalist Dinah Chapman belting out a nice crossover/gospel tune. Have you scored a copy yet Richard ? What do you think Brett?
Guest Brett F Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Last time we talked, i thought he said he had an offer....acetate or something, couldn't hear correctly as i was involved in a "heron swooping" attack...don't ask

Guest Brett F Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 No i'm afraid i'm supporting the Sheffield contingent over at Leeds, mainly going to get well oiled with the gentlemen. . Tell Richard to have fun, it's the only way to go, oh and play the Tony Border's 45'.

Guest Adrian Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 No, it's NOT "The book of life" LP (although that's good too). It's this one; No, I posted that comment in reply to the alternative version posted up, which was from the Book of Life lp, not the Sunstar one. It was the slap bass version.
