Mike Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 News of a new forum available on Soul Source SOUL OF JAMAICA The doors are now open After the interest (and the enjoyment) shown by many members with the various ska/reggae threads that have occured over the last 3 or 4 months on here, when recieved a suggestion of a seperate forum for future ska/reggae flavoured threads it did ring the right bells as it did seem like a natural progression. And so as some may have noticed over last couple of weeks, a new forum has been getting sorted in the background The main effort in moving, sorting and re-formating the existing threads has come from Pete Smith, it was also Petes suggestion in the first place and for his hattrick he has also stepped forward and voluntered to look after the day to day running of it and all that So Pete as the main driving force is the main man in there, he be looking after it, doing all the donkey work and be the first point of contact for anything to do with the SOUL OF JAMAICA forum With the doors just open its a case of early days at the moment, but its hoped that the forum will grow over time to a enjoyable and worthwhile place for those members with a taste for this style of black music Anyway here's Petes words, hope you enjoy... SOUL OF JAMAICA The purpose of this forum is for listening to and discussing of Jamaican music and will feature requests, feedback, ideas, etc. Let us know what you like and don't like, and what you'd really like to hear. Please feel free to post up any tracks that you think may be of interest, all we ask is that you post it into the correct subsection. If you're not sure where to place it, have a listen to a few examples from the various sections. link to forum https://www.soul-source.co.uk/index.php?showforum=49
