Guest Adrian Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 same info needed please ...any recomended tracks and a value..... Barrett Strong-Stronghold-capitol Lost generation-The sly slick and wicked-Brunswick Milton Wright-Friends and Buddies-Alston (Keep it up) The Barrett Strong contains Is it True, nice lp. £10 ish I would say, outbid on one a couple of days ago on ebay that went for 10 dollars... Lost Generation is another nice lp, personal favs are Loveland and Sly Slick & Wicked but I regularly play it and never skip a track, its more common than there 2nd lp, there seemed to be loads of sealed copies around a couple of years back. Price wise? £15-£20 id say. Milton Wright, the issue with Keep Ot Up is the one people want, price min £100 IO would think... Adrian
Citizen P Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Creative Source LP's Migration, has a good version of Bill Withers- Harlem Pass the feeling On- " Don't Be Afraid to Take my love" ex Mecca/Wigan spin Tony
Girthdevon Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Milton Wright, the issue with Keep Ot Up is the one people want, price min £100 IO would think... Make sure it does have 'Keep It Up' on it......I think all sleeves show it listed, but not all vinyl actually includes it. Copies without go for considerably less...... These ones are all worth investigating & should fetch a bit more than the usual.... Lolita Holloway- Lolita- Aware Lost generation-The sly slick and wicked-Brunswick Donald Byrd-Places and spaces-UA Melvin Sparks- same- westbound 20th cent Idris Muhammad-Peace and Rhythm-prestige (I`m a believer) Milton Wright-Friends and Buddies-Alston (Keep it up) Creative Source-Migration- Sussex Creative source-Same-Sussex Cheers Girth

Guest Richard Bergman Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Milton Wright-Friends and Buddies-Alston (Keep it up) One of my fave lps of all time.
Citizen P Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 Absolutely nowt to do with the music, and probably of no interest to any one else, but On the cover of Creative Source -Pass The Feeling On- one of the chaps is wearing a White Suit. Ooooh thought I that looks smart, so i strolled into John Colliers an sez " Make me one of them", Course in them days I had money-still single see, and in my defence-it was the 70's Tony
Chris Anderton Posted October 12, 2007 Author Posted October 12, 2007 Played thru a few of these Lps now...cant really say anything has hit me between the eyes yet.....I`ll keep on playing.... Cheers, Chris
