Hello,

due to some financial problems (..have to buy some books for the next year of college studies...) I have to sell these records: there are some popular cheapies, some bargains (I hope ) and some european presses that I think are interesting if you collect this kind of things...

Benny Latimore - Girl I got news for you (Dade) - 30 £ - EX

Underplayed uptempo song with latin flavour, produced by Steve Alaimo. The other side "Ain't gonna cry no more" is a great dancer, too! Label has light warp.

Ruth Brown - (Mama) He treats your daughter mean (Atlantic) - 15 £ - EX

This is the 1953 issue of this r&b classic (45-986) on Atlantic yellow label, a popular song and very rare to get in this condition (expecially for a record pressed in 1953!), the label is nearly perfect too!

Bunny Sigler - Let the good times roll/There's no love left (Parkway) - 10 £ - VG++

Classic!!

Johnny Nash - Let's Move&Groove(Together) (JODA) - VG++ - 10 £

I love this record and it's one of the first I've ever bought: Let's move&groove is a fantastic ballad and a top ender IMHO, while the other side, "Understanding" it's a very nice R&B mover. What a sweet voice!

Sonny Hines - Nothing Like Your Love (AirTown) - VG+ - 10 £

This is a good hammond-driven R&B dancer, still unknown I think: notice that this is the flipside 'cause on the A side there's a JukeBox Medley with a Tribute to Sam Cooke (?!) with the covers of "You send me" and "Bring it on home"!

Andra & The Disciples - Christian People (Liberty)- VG+ - 7 £

This was a bit of an oddity I bought with another lot of records, I think this song entered in the Gospel Chart (?!) when it was issued....well, it's a uptempo christian soul dancer.... ...good for gospel fans! (Tommaso, do you want it? )

Robert Knight - Blessed are the lonely (Rising Sons)- VG+ - 7 £

You know the voice of Robert Knight...with big orchestra&chorus sound...a good dancer(and a bit blue..),if you spin it at the end of a set of ultrafast stompers...

Trade Martin - Sixteen Tons (RCA Victor Promo Copy)- EX - 20 £

Latin soul version of this classic tune, performed by the great Trade Martin...a smart dancing tune and far cheaper than his "Work song"!

Big Maybelle - 4 tracks EP (JOEBOY) - Mint- - 15 £

This Ep was issued by JoeBoy in 1998 and contains the Scepter classics: Yesterdays Kisses, Oh Lord what you're doing to me, If I had you + the FANTASTIC & previously unissued (so I suppose this is the only way to get it on a "proper" support) "How do you feel"!! NB: The EP come with Picture Sleeve which is Mint- too!

Alvin Cash - Alvin's bag/Whip it on me (Toddlin' Town)- VG++ - 15 £

Funksoul doublesider by Alvin Cash, a sure floorfiller!!!

Michael & Raymond - Man without a woman - RCA Victor 47-9244 - VG++ - 20 £

I think this is the second issue of this popular northern soul song...the flip is a good version of "Walking the dog"

The Mob - I dig everything about you (Colossus) - EX - 15 £

Great midtempo dancing tune, with a good funk song on the flipside, the label is Mint- and it comes in Colossus company sleeve!!

EUROPEAN 45s:

Sly&The Family Stone - Thank you/Everybody is a star (ITALIAN Epic) - Vg+ - 10 £

Italian press of this funk 45 (but Everybody is a star is a sweet ballad), small writing on the label on Thank You side, comes in Epic company sleeve.

Wilson Pickett - Deborah - (ITALIAN Atlantic with PS) - Vg+ - 10 £

This was issued by Atlantic Italia after Wilson Pickett sang "Deborah" at the 18th Festival of Sanremo, the other side is "Down by the sea". The song is well-known it Italy and Wilson Picket sings it part in English and part in Italian...the Picture Sleeve is in very good condition despite 1 side is a bit damaged!

B.B.King - The Woman I Love (SPANISH Exit Records with PS) - VG++ - 10 £

Cheap midtempo bluesy/r&b tune by B.B. King pressed by the spanish Exit Records, the flip is "Blues for me" and the COOL picture sleeve is in VG condition...this is not easy to get with the PS!

Tyrone Davis - Turn Back the Hands of Time (ITALIAN Atlantic with PS) - VG++ - 10 £

This is a stock store copy I got one year ago, with a Picture Sleeve in PERFECT condition Mint-, the two songs (Turn back the hands.. & I keep coming back) are both classics and Tyrone Davis has a fantastic soulful voice!
