This is truly unbelievable. If you've got a newsreader, and please don't ask me to explain all this, go to this page

https://www.binsearch.info/?q=rickyroots&am...ge=&server=

if the search isn't already there, search for rickyroots and maximum age of posts is 'show all'.

You'll get dozens of pages of tracks, there's about 4000 in all, you just tick what you want and download them all for free.

There's everything there from mid 60's up to early 80's.

Never seen anything like it, honestly. Just one guys collection, absolutely amazing.

RickyRoots has got a lot of stuff from other people.

Also he has passed off sets put together by a collector from Yorkshire as his own and hasn't even given the original compiler a namecheck.

Plus I've got about twice that amount

Search in the media section mate, I posted at least a couple of dozen tunes a while back!

Gordy

He did Tim, 5 months or so back.

Just need to tell everyone that I have been switching uploaded tracks from the Prestatyn and other threads into a new, specialised section just for reggae/ska. Anyway, something weird has happened and it appears that every track that I have moved, and they go into 3 figures, are all now credited to Mossy, whether he posted them or not.

So apologies to people like Upsetterfc, pete Griffin and anyone else who posted loads of stuff. I don't think theres any way round this so if you want your track deleted so you can repost them to get your name back on them, send me the list of tracks. In my opinion it doesn't matter as long as people can hear them but thats just my opinion

OK look the only reason that it hasn't been properly announced yet is because we don't know what to call it, has anyone any suggestions? It encompasses jamaican r&b and soul/ska/rocksteady/reggae/well everything or less so I couldn't really call it Ska Corner (actually I kind of like that one!) or whatever. Once we have a name, it'll be officially opened by Sir Mike of Llandudno.
