Guest WPaulVanDyk Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 sure is and i was suprised to see it. it's a great record but like many people say it's cheap and hardly gonna be played out
Guest Bogue Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 Often wondered what the 'Soulful Strings' version of 'Who Who Song' sounds like ? Anyone got a soundfile ? Always liked Burning Spear O.C Smith's version of 'Baby I Need Your Loving' is a cracker too Paul Might see some action after the plays of the 'Four Tops' classic at the 100 club aniversary !
Djr Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 this weekend, at a flea market, I bought a copy of Barbara Brown's "Forget Him" on Carnival. It was one of the 45s I pulled out of a $2 each, 3 for $5 pile. On the Barbara Brown run out groove was a pink post-it note that read: "Worth a lot" (the same note was on one of the jazz 45s I bought). In the end I bought four 45s, and my grand total was $5. Funny little marketing technique I thought to myself as I walked away.....
