Pete S Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 https://planetrecords.podbean.com/ Had to split this as it was about 70 minutes long: the first part features things like Ray Agee, Linda Queen, Soul City, Devotions, Marion Stewart etc., the second features Elliot Small, The Commands, Diane Lewis, Don Ray, a couple of unissued tracks and some good underplayed oldies. Something to listen to on a boring monday! The other podcasts are now working again. Two ska ones, two featuring serious Northern rarities and a brilliant old Wigan Casino tape as well. You can also use the website to listen to them www.raresoul.co.uk but the most recent ones aren't on the Planet site, only the podbean site at the top of this message cheers Pete

Pete S Posted October 1, 2007 Author Posted October 1, 2007 brilliant stuff Pete, whats the track after just bros and the one after diane lewis?? From memory - after Just Bros is Jimmy Helms - You're Mine, You; after Diane Lewis is the Del Rays (think it was something like Your mama was Right), I got confused because it was meant to be Rosalind but on my record the labels were on the wrong sides! (This was on my sales list today)
