Guest Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 hello all i'm new to this so please be gentle i am writing on behalf of my partner he recently found a casino classics 12" promo cut record thing. i dont really know what it called so i'll just tell you what it says on it . it is casino classics 12" promo cut it has 4 songs on it these are 'you baby' 'send her away' 'love hustle' and 'family affair '.on the actual record which is blue i may add it says special limited edition disco dj version now to me this is alien but to someone out there it will probably make loads of sense. anyway my other half wanted me to try and find out if it was worth anything but i dont know where to start looking so i was hoping someone out there may know something so if you do would you please reply .i'm off now cos i'm waffling thanks

Not really worth a lot. Its nice to have as a memory of days gone by, but not really collectable. Casino Classics stuff were probably aimed more at people first getting into Northern Soul. Its difficult to put without sounding elitist, but, people today who collect, generally put their money into first issues. Sorry i cant be more positive. Nice place to start listening to sounds tho. if you like them, why not try to hear a few more? Mikey

What I'd like to know is how much royalties did Tony Hatch and Jackie Trent get for that little lot....
