pikeys dog Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=4700868224 Got to be one of the easier one to pick up an it hasn't even got a centre. At these kind of prices, how much would a full set of issues be worth now? WOOF!
Ged Parker Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 £41 - well there's nowt as daft as a vinyl addict on a mission Interesting thought though pikeys I have an almost full set of demos (missing Black Nasty don't know why Sandy didn't save me one of those) I know Nabay was fetching around £100 a couple of years back. What about Lester Tipton and Al Williams maybe woodchips new UK price guide will give us an idea either that or it'll be based on what he has in stock
davidwapples Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 saw nabay go for 20 last friday been booted last year so is cheaper now but all to expensive at the moment , you can pick up most of them for under a tenner if they want it on a different issue to the orig why not get it done at vinyl carvers for 17 quid

Guest Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I've got a few Grapevine, but regarding the UK Manship guide, it may be wise to pick any up you want before the whole thing goes arse up, and only rich Japenese kids can afford to buy them.

BTW Brett. Thinking of going to the Friendship tomorrow. Not sure yet, but if I go do you want transport ? Steve
Guest Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 Following on from the John Manship UK guide, where does this leave Record Collector, the prices are bound to vary alarmingly, i remember getting the Fascinations on Stateside at a fair a few years back for a steal, the guy refered to his copy of RC, and i got to knock him down to a peanuts price. Think that scenario may be gone forever.

I bought a job-lot of 'demos' years ago and most have a printed A, but some have white sticker over the centre with an A on it, and a few are just plain looking issues in black and white RCA promo sleeve. Any ideas? ta.
Guest Soultown andy Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 As far as i know only, get him off my conscienence,is on a demo steve, but will take your word for it about the other title. As for the demos with the black and white sticker in the centre, told by RS that were given out as promo copys to distributers at the time, when demos had run out.
Guest Soultown andy Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Beg your pardon steve the lovelites demo i have is ,get it off my conscience,GRP 107,so still in the dark about the other one.
