Tommy1 Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Inspired by the "Skinhead reggae at Prestatyn" tread, what about posting some soulful reggae tunes or cover of soul tunes done by reggae artists? I'll start with a couple.

Tommy1 Posted September 23, 2007 Author Posted September 23, 2007 Hi Tommy, I paid Steve quite a lot and he told me it is quite hard, must admit had a search on ebay for the last month since I bought it and nothing as turned up yet. He actually had it covered on his listing as Robert Tanner - Sleepin in. It is also available on a local label but I don't know what that is. Mark What label is yours on? This must be the best example of soulful reggae, or is it soul with reggae beat
TOAD Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 DEL DAVIS CAME OUT TWICE IN THE UK 1971 AND 1972 ON DIFFERANT LABELS LOOKS LIKE A UK ONLY RELEASE

Guest cardysharpy Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Wow! I NEED one of these! Is it on a 45? Not as far as I know- or at least I couldn't track one down. It's on the Studio one LP "live loving". Great LP allround and well worth picking up. Also got a re-release recently on the Soul Jazz Sugar Minott compilation.
