The creator (and owner?) was an ex-O'Jays (Bill Isles or Bobby Massey) and Dunn Pearson have been collaborting with The O'Jays in their Emi recordings. All is a Cleveland people "affair"... Both Devaki releases mentioned and the Temptations version of "Coming Home" were widely publicised at the time of release in articles/reviews in 'Echoes ' etc., as a consequence they were widely imported. Soul Bowl also had copies of the Truth album. The Dunn & Bruce St. and Truth sides on Devaki are still certainly underated however. As you say, whether it's the Cleveland group or not - who knows?
