News in of a special release of a classic 45 to mark the anniversary of Soulvation Lea Hall club

Classic seventies shuffler "Janice" by Skip Mahoney has been announced as the free commemorative single to be given away at the first Soulvation Anniversary at Lea Hall Club in Rugeley on Saturday March 12.

The in-demand track is being given away as a limited edition anniversary special by arrangement with Suss'd/Salsoul.

It will be the first UK pressing on seven inch since the late 8O''s release on Underworld.

The first 300 through the doors at the Staffordshire venue will each receive a free copy of the instant collectors item.

The event runs from 8pm till Iam with Tommy Hunt live on stage plus special Wigan Casino guests Russ Winstanley and Steve Whittle,along with residents Neil Rushton and Blue Max.

Advance tickets are available at £8 from Max Millwards Recorss, Wednesfield near Wolverhampton (01902 732795). There will be limited £10 pay on the door admission on the night but after the total lock out for the December 30 Soulvation at Lea Hall event, the only way to guarantee admission is to get an advance ticket.
