Mark thank you for hosting a terrific show, Sundays evenings will not be the same

I don't often listen to my own shows but had a peek tonight, used to sometimes check things were ok over the years, correct tapes playing, sound quality etc. etc. but had to listen tonight and buggered myself, I'm in total bits now can't stop crying but things had to finish for the very reasons I've mentioned here on SS and on the show, funding issues etc. thank you all for your support and kind comments, now perhaps I can get out there a little more and continue to contribute at the gigs, the show has been such an important part of my life and I'm gutted that it's all over...thanks again.

I'm sure that in between all the funding issues you've enjoyed providing us with this gem over the last 7 (is it really 7) years Mark. There should be some sort of "Contribution to the Northern scene" award.................. Consider yourself nominated. Top show from the heart Mark. Look forward to seeing on at some venues. Not sure if folks realise how difficult it is to provide a weekly radio show so i think you should be knighted for keeping the quality up so high for so long!

This might sound daft but I'll particularly miss that little 'gasp' you gave when you were about to spin a real killer tune - that to me made me realise that this was a jock spinning with real passion for the music

Been away this weekend to Newquay Weekender so recorded Sundays show and just finished listening to it, great show as always and as already stated by many you will certainly be missed , lost count of the number of tracks we heared for the 1st time from your show and some absolute quality tunes played throughout with some of the best jocks in the country as your guests.

There is no other show on Sky or available on line that comes close to such a varied selection of Soul ,as you have covered all genres at some time or other and the information you give on each record played is 2nd to none.

Thanks for 7 years of dedication to this wonderful scene of ours to which your contribution can not be equalled IMHO , thanks for the requests you have played for us both on your show and at various venues and hope to see you at a few venues in the coming months.

Not sure how to copy from Sky+ direct to CD or MP3 format , think I would need a CD Recorder for that which I haven't got, can copy on to cassette tapes or Video if any good to you , let me know.

If anybody else has any ideas how to copy from Sky+ to CD or direct to PC as an MP3,

would be grateful for comments. What software or hardware would I require ?

Mods may move this to another Forum but it is connected to Mark's show as you will see.

PM me and I'll sort out a copy for you. I listened to the show twice on Monday on the way back and ofrth from Malvern to Camberley and then cos there's time I listened to week befores show with Greety

Mark, your shows will be missed on Sunday night my a lot of people and me the following week in the car, fantastic sounds allround.
