I'm aware of 5 records by this man -

Two of a Kind (Cross-Tone)

I Shed a Tear (Discovery)

the 2 on Raina plus a recent purchase of mine, an absolutely blinding double sider from 1980 on Poormans - 'You Make My Life (A Sunny Day) / Thank You For loving Me

I'm assuming it is the same artist although these records do span 3 decades. Can anyone confirm this or know anything more about this fabulous singer ?

Cheers Pat

Your right Pat about the Poormans 45, Steve Plumb has played this at Soul Essence to great acclaim, foolishly I sold this 45 to Rod Dearlove many moons ago and have been trying to replace it for years, a few weeks later he was raving over it in his fanzine, he'd never heard of it before visiting me.

You live and learn.............I think

Theres at least 3 Raina releases

I've Had My Share / I'm at The Crossroads

Freedom Train Pts 1 & 2

Keep it Funky / Tomorrow I'll Be Gone

Theres also releases on Scamm Sound and Marvel but i'm not sure if they are all the same guy. Raina and Poormans are both from Phoenix Arizona.
