watch tho a few copies had clicks in them,pressing fault i think.

I think most copies came from Cal who was a member of the group and had the copies in his garage. I had the privilege of interviewing him on Soul 24-7. He had some great stories about touring round towns in Texas and some of the amazing things that went down, like getting chucked in jail by red neck sherrifs, getting jackie wilson out of jail etc etc. Toronado was a type of car (Ford I think), and they came out of Tx State University .hence the name ..in case anyone is wondering. Cal's ded now :(

Thanks for the gen on the tsu,s personally one of my all time favourite soul bands didnt get the credit they deserve fill most floors when spinning tsu toronados remember the first time i heard only inside that was it for me :(:lol:

I don't think they ever made a bad record.

Strangely enough I received a new copy of 'Got To Get Through To You' in the post today, to replace a worn out copy.

I got my copy from Cal via a Texan friend (Mike-who you would remember Steve, from the 24-7 Washington do) That was about 3 years ago. I wonder how many copies he still had in his possession at the time of his sad death?

ps. Can you guess what record was playing at home when I picked my user name???
