Erma Franklin In Doncaster Sept. 1973

According to the ' datesheets ' section of an old copy of Blues & Soul - number 116 , dated August 17 - 30 , 1973 - Erma Franklin was scheduled to play The Outlook club in Doncaster , on September 26 ......

I , along with several other notable Doncaster figures of the time , used to frequent The Outlook on a regular basis , and we would have been aware that a soul biased artist would have been booked to play , and have been there .....

I cannot recall The Outlook having the booking ; as I would have gone to see her : All I can think is that EF - despite B & S stating her being scheduled , could have been the support act to someone else - a non soul biased act - and not given creditable billing , or even worse , was not even billed .....

Can anyone confirm that this booking took place ?
