Guest Simon Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Just picked this up today, 'Cindy Malone - Whatch what you do with my baby' @ Capitol, anyone know it? I've had a look on JM's site & he doesn't have this 45 listed (although there's two other 45s both of which i already knew about), it's an absolutely superb girl group dancer! I've just played it five times on the trot it's so good, even considering playing at the Brighton allnighter tonight if i'm feeling brave! Simon

Guest Simon Posted August 26, 2007 Posted August 26, 2007 Cliff Richard's version's pretty good, too.... Blimey, he has 'an all, just checked! Is that a sarcastic whistle Tony or do you actually like the Cliff version? Do you know the CM version?...Like it? Simon
Ady Croasdell Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Cliff's is good, i don't know Cindy's I'd love to hear it.
Guest Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 This is the hardest of her 3 titles on Capitol. Last time we had it, we sold it for £30. BUT the data says it was over 6 years ago now.. we'll have to revise the value next time a copy turns up. I like all her work on Capitol, under-rated and mostly undiscovered so far, potential on all 3 titles is huge.

I'm not quite sure if this record might be too poppy/girly for some but imho it's dancefloor dynamite! I'd post a soundclpip up but i seem to have trouble with the correct format, might be because i've got a Mac. Don't s'pose you have a soundclip John? Simon
