Jesus! Some people really are nuts Pete as I sold mine for similar some years back. We must be getting old but hats off to JM if someone is willing to pay that price for a copy

No it's not something I'd ever buy again because it's such a mess of a record, if I get one you'll be welcome to it.

People should resist this ridiculous hyping of records which aren't rare or hard to find and use a bit of common sense. Just because a record sells for a large sum in an auction it means absolutely nothing except that two people want it badly and most people don't care if they pay 5 times the real value.

when i first asked on here if anyone had one for sale i wasn't aware that it was expensive. I reckoned it would be around £30 -£50. then someone pointed me to manships auction. I personally would not pay the amount it went for nor did i say i would. Yes i want it but like i say would not pay a huge amount for it. as for being a mess of a record thats your opinion and one i didn't ask for. I simply asked what it went for on manships auction. Oh and its really not nice to call people you don't know 'nutters'. innocent.gif

Not one word of what I said was directed at you but if you want to be paranoid that's up to you.

I was referring to the people who pay ridiculous prices for records in auctions which they could buy for sometimes up to 100% cheaper if they bought them set sale. And the people who pay £50 for £5 pressings. They're out there somewhere...
