This is one of the very rare Bell Sound stamped original white demos. It has been for many years one of the hardest northern classic white demos to find. Sold a few weeks ago for about £100 on Manships auction. Both issue and demos have Bell Sound stamps. Some people can't see the point in demo collecting, but if you collect white demo's or rarer releases of tunes, then this is one of the hard one's to find.

I believe the price it sold for on JM's didn't reflect how hard it is to find. This one is stone mint. When all said and done it's a top tune, demo or issue. Pittsburgh soul at it's best.

Spoke to the label owners family a few years ago. To everyone's best recollection, the issue was done on about a 1000 pressing run, the demo as few as 50 as part of the same run

I have a Bell stamped demo, got my copy off Ebay, sure I saw 2 more the weeks after, didn't know it was that rare.

It also has sparkle in the paper, I have a few records with sparkle impressed in the paper Love Factory Eloise Laws MM demo.
