Harrogatesoul Posted August 22, 2007 Author Posted August 22, 2007 Thanks guys - Kellee P's I'm Gonna Love Ya seems to be quite elusive in respect to her other 45s. Think I might have a Sweet Cream 12 somewhere.. A neat label IMO with some good cheap as chips tunes. Best Rich
Guest Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 (edited) One that pops to my mind is an album by SSO titled "Shine Your Light" I remember it having some nice tracks. Edited August 22, 2007 by Preben

Harrogatesoul Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Thanks for the discog. Sebastian - Have most if not all the Kellee P / OC Smith / Delegation /Sweet Cream. None of the Prime Cut 45s tho. Any good anyone? Use to like a bit of El Chicano in my old mod days too. Rich

Any good anyone? Use to like a bit of El Chicano in my old mod days too. Rich Prime Cut "message to the ghetto" is a pretty good group funk cut. The record isn't very rare, I think I even have a double if you really want a copy. The really good prime cut cut came out on polydor -- I'm so glad is excellent sweet soul (the other side is "hey pearl" I think). It is much harder to find.
Harrogatesoul Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Not heard the flip on the Polydor release (Love sweet soul) - Think the demos are pretty common without the flip you mention (I think?) Cheers Bob Rich
boba Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Not heard the flip on the Polydor release (Love sweet soul) - Think the demos are pretty common without the flip you mention (I think?) Cheers Bob Rich Yeah, it's more common as a demo. Here is a radio show where I play the "i'm so glad" side (sorry i'm at work now and can't edit out the cut or record the 45 for you). Prime cut is the 3rd to last song (so skip to near the end), I can pm you the playlist if you want the whole thing. Thanks. www.sittinginthepark.com/6-24-2007.mp3
Sutty Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 "Wont You Try" is nice too. yes it is, just put it on, thanks - i've been sleeping on that one for a long time. always good when you hear a quality record and you already own it. now this thread means next in line is the kellee patterson lp
