old ian jackson spin in the eighties

shame his not on here he collected the label like mad back then

i bought quite a bit off him but never this one.

Different "Uptown" label, Ducky & Glowlighters "Uptown" label is out of Philadelphia.

Actually played that Ducky and the Glowlighters record earlier today and frankly I think its a crock ! Very rare but very average ! Tommy Dodson a much better record imho

Different Uptown label by the way - j/g distributed.

Anyone else share the same opinion on D & G - Another case of rarity overtaking quality

I love "Ducky" - it's messy, frantic, urgent, atmospheric - all the things I like in a Northern record, though I like Tommy Dodson for the same reason, rarity DOESN'T come into the equation for me, I've got F*** all to prove, but I can understand why it would not be everybody's cup of Cappuccino.

I'll try and remember what I played (it was quite late for me, as I'm a boring Bastard that doesn't drink or partake in any other stimulants) but will do my best for you, though I know I didn't play "Ducky" as it's heart attack material at that time of the night.
