DeltaSouth
Now it just might be my bias-- for I've always been a fan of stuff like this-- but the prices I see on items like this seem low. Yea, I realize it isn't rare. Or, that rare... (in awesome condition they are rare) Most KING label stuff i come across looks like a frisbee dog toy... no, worse than that. I've seen price guides, and I mean no disprespect, but to me some of the printed books are... wrong. Merely the opine of a new collector, but a old fan. As far as soul, James Brown is the benchmark, right? And the Syd Nathan label... "saga" What history! Actually items like this are of historic musical importance, imho. Think of the impact KING and "The Godfather of Soul" had on the music scene. Good Gawd! Heck, I recall white folks being all insulted and "against" this type music in the early USA days but look at what soul has become... Yea, my age is showing. Anyway, just a rant. I just saw what Osborne and Goldmine list as prices and it pissed me off. lol. just kiddin' Edited August 10, 2007 by vinyldisc Link to comment Social source share
