Peter99 Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Just seen a copy of this on a US site - at $600. Is that correct? I've just been doin some work on the house and have a box of stuff - this included, accidentally, now covered in soot from the chimney I've knocked out and other miscellaneous debris. So - is that price correct and - any tips on cleaning yer vinly up?

Barry Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I was bidding on the last one I saw on Ebay about 3 month back, it went for £160 I think.

Cunnie Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Copy on Pat Bradys auction at £260 with just under 2 hours to go. Loads must have turned up recently, seems to be a copy in every sales box I look in.
Ady Potts Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Seems to be a lot of "iffy" copies of this about at the moment.
Peter99 Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 Better start getting my stuff properly boxed up and out of the way. Whilst engaged in taking out the chimney I also broke The Dells - Your Song and my Carol Anderson. And now I is a sad boy!
Peter99 Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 Seems to be a lot of "iffy" copies of this about at the moment. I'd heard of "iffy" ones in the past - I'm sure mines ok I got it from John Anderson years ago if I recall. What's the story on the iffy ones then?
Guest Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 (edited) I was bidding on the last one I saw on Ebay about 3 month back, it went for £160 I think. I know a nice guy who won ZZ & Co. recently on E-bay for a similar amount of £££ it was the Counterfeit. The genuine original 45 pretty tough to acquire. Edited August 7, 2007 by john manship

Guest ZTSC Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Hi John I think this has been covered before on here - whats the detail on the boot? Peter Got mine off John Anderson in 1985 and no reason to believe it is a boot - so who wants it for £180
Steve G Posted August 9, 2007 Posted August 9, 2007 Hi John I think this has been covered before on here - whats the detail on the boot? Peter It's all to do with matrix numbers my friend...... Actually not sure whether it's a boot or Jesse Butler pressed up some more? I am sure John will give us the precise details...
Peter99 Posted August 9, 2007 Author Posted August 9, 2007 Cheers Pottsy Mines definitely a proper one - I thought it was anyway as I got it from John Anderson in the 80's. Thanks for the deadwax detail. Peter
