Guest Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 Just come across this interesting site, www.texassoulrecordings.com don't know if it's been mentioned before, it's fairly recent, this year by the look of it.....loads of Texas labels big and small, though noticeable by their absence, are Duke/Peacock,.....also noticed missing issues on quite a few of the labels listed, which I'm sure the more knowledgeable among us can help Andy put right.....worth a look anyway Derek.

Andy knows about Duke + Peacock, I think he told me he was waiting to put it up or something. I think these regional sites are great, even when they start off sparse, just by their focused nature they became a place to really collect all the information about that specific place. For example, if I see an unlisted texas 45, I'll submit it to that site before submitting it to one of the several other discography sites (which are also very good, just less specific).
Baz Atkinson Posted August 3, 2007 Posted August 3, 2007 THIS IS A TOP TOP SITE FOR SOME AWESOME LOGOS ,HERES A NICE SLICE OF TEXAS CROSSOVER. BAZ A

I agree with you there Bob, these regional sites are great, I have them all in my favourites, well the ones I know of, Andy's site now included....no disrespect intended to Andy either re' Duke/Peacock, I assumed they would be a work in progress and perhaps should have mentioned that in my post....by the way are you the Bob on his contributors list? Derek.
