don't know if this qualifies, but i have 7 or 8 copies of "Beautiful Dreams" by Twiggy ( old Rob Smith cover-up, aka Samantha Jones, as mentioned in a previous thread) from various countries with different labels, inc Brazil, France, Holland, Japan, New Zealand...labels include Ember, Odeon, Capitol...

will have to sort out one day.

Another one of these by Tony Price on Le Cam :D

Soul Symphony, and it's different titles, if that counts.

Makes you wonder why it kept changing name, even in the U.K.

There's actually two versions of this - in the early 70's, some budget label put out a compilation called Twiggy & her Boyfriends to cash in on the stage play that Twiggy was starring in, Beautiful Dreams was on it but it had a theremin type instrument added over most of the instrumental parts!

Got this on Portugese Ember, Twiggy and the Silver Screen Syncopators, also on label as well as Twiggy and the Girlfriends.

Record sounds like it plays at about 40rpm

Hi Roger,

That's really strange.

I've never thought of "Get Out Of My Heart" as a vocal to "Soul Symphony" before.

Ede Robin, certainly, but not Moses & Joshua.

Must give 'em a listen again.

Sean

Hi Sean

Might be me, I always thought that the Instrumental was based on the "Get Out Of My Heart" track.

or Visa-Versa.

Not a straight Vocal to the Instrumental. If you know what I mean.

throwaway instrumental flips got reused a lot as b-sides. For example, the 'soulin with the whatnauts' track got put on at least 3 singles I think. Also, there's all those dore 45s that reuse the same instrumental flip sides as filler.

Gotcha mate.

I certainly see the similarity now you've pointed it out.

Just never occurred to me before!
