Ian Seaman Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi, I have just bought this off a seller (Europe) and it has arrived as a WDJ with NO lines, Black text and it is vinyl with moulded over label, can some of you please comfirm for him to see what copy this is ?? Thanks, Ian.
pikeys dog Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 (edited) Boot is vinyl, moulded label, black print, slightly poorer blurry print quality compared to the orig... Sounds like you've got a boot - any chance you can scan it or take a decent photo? Edited July 31, 2007 by pikeys dog
Ian Seaman Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 The label looks pukka mate, really strong black writing, the logo is slightly faded/grainy. deffo vinyl boot in my mind, but seller seems to think it is original hence why i want a few 2nd opinions !! will load a scan soonish
Mal C Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 (edited) The Dog is right, vinyl copies are the boots, the originals are Styrene... I've got a boot copy and it looks good, print is strong and all that, sold the styrene copy years ago... Mal Edited July 31, 2007 by Mal.C.
ShorterSoul Posted July 31, 2007 Posted July 31, 2007 Looks very much like the boot. I got ripped off with one of these when they first appeared in the early 80's. Black issue or the nice red and white demo's probably the safest bet if you want an original
Ian Seaman Posted July 31, 2007 Author Posted July 31, 2007 Deffo the boot.. M Thanks, the more the merrier !! just so's i can prove it to him in case he don't believe me Ian.

M Thanks, the more the merrier !! just so's i can prove it to him in case he don't believe me Ian. its easy to tell the difference...if its on vinyl its a boot, if its styrene its an original, seem to remember richard domar selling the boots in the early 80's

Remember paying a tenner for one thinking it was the original. It was in the days of when he used to issue those pocket book sized lists...
