Guest rigs28 Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 thinking of selling off quite a few records(about 200-300)in the nr,future and need a little advice please.am i better selling as a job lot or would i get more by selling individually.About 50/60 are valued well above the £100 mark as well as some in the £250 plus bracket.also many run of the mill originals in the £20-£50 bracket.would appreciate any suggestions please.
Kev Connellan Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 I would imagine you'd get nearer the going rate as individual sales rather than a job lot.
Pete S Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Who knows in this current climate? Depends how quick you need the money. If you need it quick, sell as a job lot, if you can wait, sell individually. Do a list, somethings will fly out, others will be there this time next year. There's no hard and fast rules anymore. One thing though, do not rely on soul source for sales!

Tomangoes Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 To get the best price you have to know whats in demand. If you watch ebay (highest price first selection) and othe auction sites like John Manship, you can monitor what todays prices are. Timing is everything, and always has been. I think ebay has improved with items like buy it now and best offer. Good luck. Ed
Simsy Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 dont really need the money so may list individually. Think thats wise if you want the best price.
