Dave Morris Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Got this on a PIR cd.Features 5 tracks including Somebodys Gotta Move and The Love I Lost.Came out October 2000. Dave.
Djmelismo Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 The Dells- well, no comments needed. Grace Little - great pipes. I visited her webpage some months ago, she´s still in the business. As one might expect she is doing gospel music. Melismo
Steve Plumb Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Yep, the 12" was legit although never seen a 45 - that'd be nice! Think i've also got it by The Dells on an early 90's CD too! Killer tune! Steve
Glynthornhill Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 Somebodys Gotta Move first release as Steve stated on a cd. 1992 pir I Salute You dells 40 th anniversary highly recommended. https://cratesofsoul.com/
Guest Posted July 30, 2007 Posted July 30, 2007 I bought also the "I Salute You (40th Aniversary)" PIR-Zoo CD around 93 and only likes the up-tempos "Babylon Risin'", "Listen Up Young Brothers" and the Bunny Sigler ballad "Baby Don't Go Away Mad", where the piano contrasting with the cold production, machine-drumms... This is my last PIR acquisition. If the rest of the production from 1992 on it's so "cold", Im not interesting in, despite the fact the vocal quality by The Dells (and, probably, by Grace Little and Damon...). I keep my interest on Edsel or Westside re-issues of old stuff as Don Covay, Bobby Rush or the jazz catalogue (specially Jean Claude T).
